I have two worksheets for the same customer (multiple account numbers
for each customer). One is a master worksheet with data from 2006 -
2008 and the other has data from 2009. The 2009 worksheet contains a
subset of the account numbers from the master. I have created a pivot
off the master that shows how much they paid per account number. I
next to the pivot table, I'd like to identify the account numbers from
the 2009 worksheet that match up with ones in the pivot table and then
show how much that account number paid. The worksheets look like
this:
Column A Column B Column C Column
D Column E
Account #1 Date & Time Duration
Location Cost
Account #1 Date & Time Duration
Location Cost
Account #1 Date & Time Duration
Location Cost
Account #2 Date & Time Duration
Location Cost
Account #2 Date & Time Duration
Location Cost
Account #3 Date & Time Duration
Location Cost
Account #3 Date & Time Duration
Location Cost
Account #3 Date & Time Duration
Location Cost
Account #3 Date & Time Duration
Location Cost
Account #4 Date & Time Duration
Location Cost
So in the master worksheet, account numbers 1, 2,3, & 4 exist. In the
2009 worksheet, perhaps only customers 1 & 3 exist. In no case are
there any account numbers in te 2009 worksheet that ARE NOT in the
master.
I'm not sure I'm being clear, so if not, let me know and I'm happy to
repost.
Thanks.
