Identifying resources in use from the Enterprise resource pool

I am working on cleaning up our Enterprise resource pool as we now have over
1000 resources. Is there an easy way of finding out which resources are not
allocated to any schedules?

We are using MS Project Server 2003 with a mix of SP2 and SP3

This is an excellent question! The easiest way to address this need would
be to create a Portfolio Analyzer view that consists of the Resource and
Projects dimensions in the Row Fields drop area and the Work total field in
the Total Fields drop area. When you look at this custom View, the software
will show the list of all resources with their projects collapsed. You can
expand each resource individually, and then the View will show you the list
of projects to which that resource is current assigned at least one task.
If the Projects list is empty, the resource is not assigned to any projects.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Dale, I exported the data out into a Pivott table which made it a bit
easier for me to work with and it has given me the Data I need.

Yes, exporting the Portfolio Analyzer date to an Excel PivotTable was a
logical step to extend the solution I suggested. Well done, my friend! :)
