Why, whenever I click on an attachment in Entourage, does it not correctly
identify the right timezone and day?
This has happened from the very start when I first installed Office:Mac.
If I receive an email in Entourage, and it contains an attachment which is an
iCal invite (such as an entire Calendar like xxxxx.ics), and I click on this
attachment, it INVARIABLY advances the date/time four days into the future
when it is added to iCal. In addition, I ALWAYS get an error stating that
the Calendar date and my Computer date do not match, which causes Entourage
to "correct" the date/time of the events. Now, I don't WANT Entourage to
"correct" the date, since it is CORRECT in OS X, and in ALL DECENT OS X apps,
such as System Utilities, iCal, and Mail.
How can I keep Entourage from "correcting" the date/times of events?
My PERSONAL opinion is that Entourage is totally SCREWED UP!!! But I assure
you, I have NOT screwed it up. I've been using both Outlook and Entourage
for years, and have NEVER had problems with them before.
Yet Entourage INVARIABLY changes the CORRECT date/time information of ALL
events I import from an iCal invitation.
PLEASE, Microsoft, FIX this CRAP!!!
By the way, Microsoft, your HELP on the matter is totally USELESS!!!
FIX IT!!! And I DON'T WANT one of your CRAPPY "work-arounds", I want the
damn thing to WORK, as Apple applications ALWAYS DO!!!!!
I am SICK TO DEATH!! of Entourage's import functions. FIX the importer!!!
And allow me to IMPORT an iCal calendar from within the Import wizard in
Entourage!!!
