idiotic versioning of FrontPage

E

edwards

Doing consulting outside my normal area (MSAccess) I asked
the client the question, "What version of FrontPage are
you using?" The business client 3 timezones away
answered, "Duh?" I looked at the webpages the client
produced. META generator tag value says, "FrontPage 4.0".
I headed off to the Microsoft website to study version-
specific differences -- no such version! Instead they have
98, 2000, 2002, 2003. Right! That's M$. Anyone match 4.0
to one of those correctly, please? Thanks.

People who don't know how to spell MS run into this problem quite
frequently - probably related to some other dysfunction.

Either that or they are Open Sores posers, trying to be chic.

Nice backhand, suh.
