Believe it or not - I have a few users who need to access our Project Server
using Mac OS X.
One solution that is working is to load Parallels (www.parallels.com) and
install Windows XP - from there everything works fine.
I am exploring the use of the outdated and unsupported browser IE 5.2 for
Mac OS X. I have obtained and installed a copy of the software. I am able
to connect to the project server, and get to the EULA page.
From there, I begin to download the controls, but quickly end up on the
dlerror.dll page with the following message:
"The controls for Project Web Access could not be downloaded correctly.
Please check your security settings in Internet Explorer or contact your
system administrator.
Return to the License Agreement page"
I believe I have set all the security down to the minimum to allow ActiveX
controls to execute.
I understand this may not be the correct forum for this question and will
move on should I be advised to do so![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
But Rolly is my hero! And I thought if anyone could figure this out - he
could.
