IE 6 sp1 issue?

When opening IE my homepage opens partially in 10 secs. It takes 30 or more
secs to fully open. My system will not accept any input while this occurs.
Also while browsing this same thing occurs while waiting for pages to
load.Once I have entered a site the pages load normally. This has been
occuring for a week or so. My Broadband IP has performed a diagnostic on my
modem and ping and transfer rates are normal. Any suggestions? Thanks

I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to IE. Most of them start
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.
