IE 7 and MS Project problems

Fred

When we start MS Project and try to connect to ProjectServer with IE 7 as our
browser we get the following error message:

You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the
credentials that you supplied because your web browser is sending a
WWW-Authenticate header field that the Web Server is not configured to accept.

Can anyone help with this problem?

Thanks,

Hi Fred,

You may want to use the link below to post this to the MS Office Project discussion group and include there the version of MS
Project you're using.

Any solution to this one Fred? I'm having a user experience this as well.

I experienced identical problems with a user. I solved them by going into
the Trusted Sites section in IE and changing the default settings for trusted
sites to include "Automatic logon with current username and password" instead
of "Automatic logon only in Intranet zone". I changed a couple of other
settings to resemble mine, but I think that was the important one.
