IE can I backup my favorites to be restored later

Bryan

Whenever I lose my harddrive or get a new computer I always have to start
over in Internet Explorer setting my favorites. Sometimes I loose items
because of my memory. Is there a way to back up my favorites list to a file
to be reloaded in the future if needed?

Thanks,
Bryan

Perhaps, why not just ask in the Internet Explorer group and fnd out
what they recommend. This is the MS Office group and so has no bearing

You can copy your favorites, which are a set of shortcuts, from the folder
(on Win XP):

C:\Documents and Settings\<your user name here>\Favorites

To restore them, just copy them back to this location. There is a similar
location for Vista, something like: C:\users\<your user name her\Favorites
