IE freezes when task time zeroed out

A user at a company I provide IT support for is having an issue where he will
click into a cell to zero out an erroneous time entry and IE will instantly
freeze, it has to be forcefully closed. It doesn't lock up the whole
computer, just IE. We've tried upgrading IE, reinstalling the ActiveX
controls, removing those, manually installing and registering them,
everything we can think of, to no avail.

Any ideas? TIA

Sorry, guess that would've helped. Project Server 2003, XP Pro sp3, we've
tried with IE 6, 7 & 8.

Thanks!

(I forgot to select the "Notify me of replies" option or I would have
responded sooner, sorry about that)

What's your patch level on Project Server. This one is not ringing a bell
for me.

I'm not sure what patches or service packs have been installed, but the
software version is 11.0.8173.0. Again, sorry it took a long time to reply;
your reply created a new thread so I wasn't notified of a reply. If there is
a collection of data I can get for you to help troubleshoot, please let me
know what all the bits and pieces are. I have exhausted my Project Server
knowledge trying to fix this issue.

Thank you :)
