IE works and Mozilla failes in Hyperlinks

Sammi

In my WebSIte - www.triplebit.com and on the client side Win XP, some
buttons work fine with IE but faile with Mozilla Ver. 1.7 (for instance, the
Beu Now button in the homepage). When they faile, I mean that some garbage
apperas at the browser window with the buttons hypelinks. I tried the
Mozilla in Windows 2000 and it works fine.

Can someone advise please?

Thanks

Amos

Hi Amos,

This is due to the fact that the HTML files you are linking to do not
have an extension. It is always unpredictable how a browser (any
browser) will behave without extensions; For that, it is recommended to
add an extension of ".html" or ".htm" to your web pages. FYI, this is
not garbage. It is simply the HTML that a browser is supposed to parse
so that it knows what to display on its window.

Good Luck,
Antoni

He's not linking to a file without an extension, he's linking to folder that contains a default
document.
This is a very common practice. Here's an example:
http://www.95isalive.com/fixes

fixes is a folder which contains a page named index.htm
