IE7 and Project Server 2003

With IE6 I could open a project from the PWA in MS Project Pro 2003 with no
problems.

I have just installed IE7 and this function no longer works. I get a message
box saying I have to have Project Pro 2003 installed and the enterprise
options enabled in PWA. Both of these are the current situation.

Any suggestions for a fix?

Thanks, Annette

I found some similar errors posted which were resolved by setting the
security for trusted sites to low. (automatic logon with current user, allow
activeX etc)

This setting is below that recommended and applies to ALL trusted sites not
just PWA. I have reservations about this.

Are there any other solutions?

AnnetteG,

I understand your reservations but these setting only effet sites that you
list as "trusted". Sadly no this is the required action.

I know this is an old post, but i just resolved the same problem in 2007 on
my machine. I fixed mine by going to start / control panel/ add or remove
programs. I selected Project Pro 2007 and clicked "change". That brought up
a screen with three choices - one of which was to reinstall or repair. I
clicked repair and let it do its thing. I rebooted my computer and some
updates were installed. That did the trick.
