I have a spread sheet the someone messed up a key formula. It is an
inspection sheet.
As an item gets a score it is supposed to add a total possible number to a
different cell.
If a cell has no score nothing added. If it has a score a weight number is
added.

Sounds weird but it used to work. If you need more info or a section posted
let me know.

Classrooms wt. Inspection Location Total
Appearance Items: fac # # # # Score
Floors (carpets or tile) 55 0 0 0 0 0
Chalkboards, Trays & Erasers 15 0 0 0 0 0
Horizontal surfaces & furniture 6 0 0 0 0 0
Walls, doors & windows 8 0 0 0 0 0
Lighting & fixtures 2 0 0 0 0 0
Trash cans & pencil sharpeners 5 0 0 0 0 0
Veritical surfaces, vents & ledges 5 0 0 0 0 0
Window blinds & partitions 4 0 0 0 0 0
Total Point Count 100 0 0 0 0 0
Quality Score by Area 0 0 0 0 0
Grand Total Point Count HERE 0 0 0 #DIV/0!

As a number 1-5 is placed in the # column it is multiplied by the weight
number into the 0's column then adds the actual weight number HERE.

Clear as mud eh?

Hi YB,

What you want to do is pretty easy but I can't make heads
or tails out of the sample you posted! If it's possible,
you can send me a copy of the file And I'll fix it. You
would need to change the address to biff_in_pitt
