I'm trying to create a formula to do the following. Can someone help me put
this in the correct format?

If E8=X, then G8=(g4*m8)
and if E8 is blank, leave blank

I tried to post this before and I didn't see it post, so I'm sorry if it
appears twice.

What was wrong with the answers in your other thread?

Enter the following in cell G8;
=IF(E8="X",G4*M8,"")

I am assuming G4 and M8 contain values to be multiplied and put in G8 if E8
contains X.

Let me know if this is what you wanted.
