"IF" function is not working O.K.

"IF" function in an old Excel version before 2002, worked
OK when comparing cell value("text") versus "Text
argument". Now using Excel 2002 (10.432.4219) is not
working properly.
Any of you have had a similar problem like this and, how
do you fixed it?

Any Help is appreciated.

Could you be a bit more specific? For example, what is a formula
that is not working properly.
