IF Function

Hello All,

Using Excel XP.

I have two formulas that I would like to combine into 1 formula.

# 1. =IF(A1<5.5,A1-B1,0)
# 2 =IF(B1>5.5,0,5.5-B1)

Any help would be appreciated to combine the two to get the correct anwer.

So what *is* the right answer?

For instance, what if A1<5.5 and B1>5.5?
