If I have Office XP do I need Office 2000 updates?

I have Office XP standard for students/teachers loaded; when I was installing
several XP updates the MS update page said there were more updates required
for my computer, but they are all for Office 2000. Are those really for my
system?

Hi S.,

Check in Add/Remove programs in the Windows Control Panel
to see if there are any MS Office family 2000 series
products listed.
