If I purchase an office upgrade (2003 to 2007) can I keep the office 2003
installation on the same computer? or does it automaticallyu get removed?
I really want to have both versions of PowerPoint installed for testing. ie.
side-by-side install?

An Upgrade version will overwrite the previous version of Office

Hi Kent,

When installing the upgrade choose the 'custom' installation choice and you can select which of the prior version apps to keep and
which to remove (Outlook can't have 2 though).

As Peter mentioned, the default behavior of an Office 2007 retail upgrade product is to remove older versions of Office for which
the new version has a replacement product.
