If I remove Office 2007, will it leave my old Office version?

When I installed Beta of Office, my old Office appears to have been
overwritten. The new Beta is too slow and I want to get back to my old
version. Will uninstall of the Beta leave the older version of Office intact?

Hi Andy,

If you removed a prior version of MS Office when installing MS Office 2007 Beta 2 you will need to reinstall Office 2003 after
removing Office 2007 Beta 2 (restart the PC after backing up your files and before you reinstall an older version).

I don't believe I uninstalled my old Office...........I think I just
installed Office 2007 over it; however nothing indicates that the old Office
product is there. Guess that means I have to reinstall, huh? Oh, well.
