I think i need to re-install Outlook because my Outlook today pane does not
refresh for new messages in MSN folder. I copied my old Outlook data files
from my other computer. Someone told me i have to re-install Outlook and
Import folders and then it will work. If i uninstall Office, will my data be
lost?

What version of Outlook? I'm not sure Outlook Today view includes Hotmail
folders.

No your Data is not lost
Please save your PST Files on to a CD or on to a Shared Network Drive on a
different computer.
After your Outlook is reinstalled you can import back your Messages, without
any issues
Let me know what version of Outlook you are using so that i can assist
better,

Thanks

I use Outlook 2003. So I will be able to import my calendar, tasks and
everything else back?

Never import. Just copy the PST back to hard drive from the CD, taking care
not to overwrite any existing PST, remove the read-only attribute, and open
it in Outlook with File>Open>Outlook Data File.
