IF Statement help???

I'm an Excel novice & I'm lost on this one. I'm working
on a 2 sheet workbook.

The 1st sheet is a header page that will list a pricing
level code (silver or gold). The second sheet is the
price list.

I need make the second sheet automatically pick the
correct price based on the level (silver or gold) that is
listed on the 1st sheet & multiply that price by a
quantity column.

So if sheet 1 A1 = "gold" then multiply sheet 2's A1 by
quantity column (sheet 2 A2)

I hope this makes enough sense that someone can help me
out.
