IF statements

I need to tell column B if there there is something in column C greater
than zero then use column A figure. Otherwise use A/2.

Can anyone help me with this formula?

Your example does not agree with your description.

=IF(C2>0,A2,A2/2)
matches your verbal description

=IF(C2>0,A2/2,A2)
matches your numerical example.
