If then field in merge document

HI,

in Word2007 how do i view "if then" merge fields ..... there used to be a
menu option in earlier versions to show them but i can't find it in 2007?

Hi Nigel,

In Word 2007, the path is via the Office Button>Word Options>Advanced selections, then scrolling down to 'Show document content',
under which is an entry named 'Show field codes instead of their values'.

Toggling via Shift-F9 for a single field, or Alt-F9 for the whole document, is quicker.
