If, then using color condition

I am using Excel to chart some company bids. I look at a list of
monthly projects and when I find out that we won a bid I fill the
background of the row green. If we lose I fill it red, and if it's up
in the air I fill it yellow.

I would like to write a formula that checks the color of a particular
cell and then if it is red then I would like the forumula to add the
value of that contract to a sum of "lost" contracts and if it is green
I want it to add that contract value to a sum of "won" contracts.

Is there any way for a formula to check the color of a cell?
