ignore other applications

i opened a excel work sheet and did the following tools-options-general and tagged the ignore other applications.now i when i open all ny work books there is no data,and the option word is not available,so i cant remove the ignore application tag!!! help.

If you close and reopen Excel (just having a blank
workbook open),
it should allow you to get to that option and uncheck it.
