IIf Statement Error

Hi, trying to find out a solution to this conundrum...

=IIf([Last Month Highest ID New Entry]![SongID]>[Month
Top 40]![SongID],"-","RE")

The result is always "RE", even when the greater than
condition is met.

Any thoughts?
