IIS for having Web Server on PC

Sandra

"Before you install IIS, you need to install the Windows
TCP/IP Protocol and Connectivity Utilities." This is
what the instructions say. Some advice says I don't have
to do this first. I REALLY don't want to, because it
seems out of my scope of ability. Can I use the FP
Extensions on my PC with only IIS and not bother with
TCP/IP?

The fact that you posted to this newsgroup means you have TCP/IP and connectivity utilities
installed.
You can view them in the properties section of your connection listing in the Network and Dial Up
Connection section by double clicking on Network Neighborhood.

What are you reading from? What Operating System are you using? IIS comes
with the Operating Systems it runs on.
