IIS Server email problem

For the most part, the server that I set up on IIS seems to be working ok as
far as publishing with Front Page and doing everything it is supposed to with
the exception of incoming email from a submit form. The problem I am having
seems to stem from the SMTP Server properties. On the general tab for the
Default SMTP Virtual Server, it has an IP address of 207.173.258.58 which I
am unable to edit. I was under the impression that the IP for this server
was by default 127.0.0.1 so can someone straighten me out as to what the
correct IP address should be?

Hi Tom.......tried that yesterday but so far no reply. Just thought someone
here might know the answer.

The IP address 207.173.xxx.xxx is the IP of the server on the Internet
or your LAN. 127.0.0.1 is the loopback address for your server.
The SMTP server must be set to accept connections from 127.0.0.1 and
from any other IP addresses that may be relevant (the IPs of any web
servers hosted on the same box, for example, if the web servers have
unique IPs rather than Host Names.

If the SMTP server is also expected to relay email to a different
domain, then relaying must also be set up for 127.0.0.1 as well as any
other IPs.

The set up for adding IP addresses to Windows SMTP service is via the
Connection and Relay buttons in the SMTP property sheets.
