IIS user name ??

Hi folks, I just did a fresh install of Windows XP and IIS, I named this web
pc 'FRED' and I'm using FrontPage 2002 on a second pc to create a web site.

When I attempt to publish the web site (http://fred/firstweb) I am prompted
for a user name and password. The username however defaults to "fred/guest"
and I cannot change it.

Any thoughts as to why it is defaulting and how I would change it?

I have Googled this and looked over the Microsoft site with no success.

Appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks for the reply, I checked your suggestion and it was a member of
guests yet I could not publish to it. I could browse the site
(http://fred/iishelp) from a second PC. So as a test I added administrators
to the "member of" and was then able to publish to http://fred/firstweb and
browse the site. Adding administrators would seem to be an unusual
situation - any thoughts?

I continued with the new install of XP and installed the various Microsoft
updates including SP2 but excluding IE7 - absolutely no other applications
or tools / utilities installed at this point. ("member of" still includes
guests and administrators)

Now I cannot browse the site (http://fred/firstweb or http://fred/iishelp)
from a second PC nor can I publish to http://web1/firstweb from FrontPage. I
can browse the site if I'm sitting at the pc running IIS. Any thoughts

Update - I turned off the firewall and all is well . It appears that the
firewall settings are not being retained as SP2 or other updates are
implemented.

I'll tinker with these and the administrator group settings.
