I'm experiencing the same problem!

Hi, sorry to revive and old thread.

I've just experienced exactly the same problem described here.

The document prints fine (with pictures) if I print the "whole"
thing. Only when I select a range of page or current page, the images
would disappear from the quick view and a blank would be where the
image should have been.

The problem occurs with every printer, even printing to PDF.

I'm using Leopard 10.5.8 and Word 12.2.0 (all updated versions) on an
Intel Macbook (late 2007 model).

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for repeating the question: the people delivering help are almost
all on a different server, and we can't see the old thread :)

It's always best to start a NEW thread, to ensure that your question
receives an answer specifically designed for your circumstances :)

Your issue is that the pictures are either in the "Header" or they are
"floating".

If the pictures are in the header, they will not be printed unless you print
the header and footer, which means you must print the entire document.
There is no way around that.

If they are floating, the text contains only a reference to the picture. If
that reference is not contained in your selection, the pictures won't appear
in the output.

See if you can convert the pictures to "Inline with text". Click each
picture, choose Format Picture, choose Layout, and set it to Inline with
text. If the pictures are in the body of the text, that will resolve the
issue (you may have to move the text around a bit to get the pictures in the
right place).

Hope this helps
