samples (i.e. examples of presentation templates and slide content
that I have designed for various financial industry clients).

I'm curious what the folks in here think about the best way to
display. They are just screen shots of various slides. Would you do it
so that the user licks through the portfolio (i.e. "Next" button), or
would you do it all on one page and just have the user scroll downward
through the portfolio? (I am doing it in DreamWeaver)

Also, I'm a little perplexed as to how to display slides that have
powerpoint animations. Obviously thumbnails won't do it. I worry a
little about having slides actually open up on the users end in
PowerPoint because of different software versions and
unpredictability. Maybe show the static/non-animated slides as screen
shots and in a seperate section ask them to download a PPT or PPS file
with animated slides?

I realize it's all a matter of personal preference, but I am wondering
if you nice people have a preference - PARTICULARLY if you've ever
been in the position of either marketing your own skills this way and/
or have viewed similar portfolios from people you have then hired...

Why not just publish your presentation as a web page and provide you clients
a link to it. then all that is required to view it is a web browser.

hi michael part of the reason I am doing it in dreamweaver and wanting
to take it out of powerpoint is so I can get a little more experience
with building web pages. I'm personally not crazy about the way
powerpoint presentations look on the web.

Once you get it completed, come back with a link so we can have a look. You
might want to have a look here on how to have your presentation open full
screen and play background music.
