I'm missing toolbar and menu in excel only

I'm suddenly missing my entire toolbar and menu from excel. All other
msoffice applications are fine. When I open an excel domument all I get is
the formula button. I dont see a drop down or expansion arrow anywhere in
excel. Help !

Hi Bill,

I'm suddenly missing my entire toolbar and menu from excel. All other
msoffice applications are fine.

Try this:

- Open Excel
- Hit Alt-F11 (opens the Visual Basic Editor)
- Hit control-g (opens the immediate window)
Type:
Application.commandbars("Worksheet Menu Bar").Enabled=True
at the end of that line, hit the enter key.

- alt-F11 back to Excel. The top menu should be back.
- Rightclick the menu to restore your toolbars.
