Im not receiving some messages in Outlook, Spamfilter is off. Why

I've noticed some messages are not being received in Outlook, so I turned my
spam filter off, and they still are not coming through. Where are they, and
why is this happening? Please respond to (e-mail address removed) in case
the non working spam filter blocks your response. Thanks!!
