I'm still unable to use certificates with Entourage

I've been having this issue for months, and so far there has been no
solution. Not only can I not select certificates to use with my email
account (to sign and encrypt email messages that I send out), I can't import
digital certificates used by others who have signed their messages (although
Entourage does say that the digitial signature is fine).

My certificate is in the login keychain, and both that certificate and the
root certificate (Thawte Personal Freemail) are "valid" according to
Keychain Access.

Can anyone (MVPs?) suggest what I can try to get this working?

Thanks!

Hi Mike!

I've been meaning to do a few blog posts about using certificates with
Entourage and would be using Thawte as my examples. This may give me
some impetus to get writing.

You must have a certificate specific to each E-mail address you use. The
address in the certificate must match the E-mail address of the account
you're using.

When you go into your mail account under Tools --> Accounts..., under
Mail Security and then click the Select... button. What do you see there?
