I'm trying to convert .wps files to .doc files (works to word)

I'm trying to convert .wps files to .doc files (works to word) and continue
to get an error saying "file seems to be corrupted". I have downloaded the
converteres and this does not work. I am using Office 2003.

Hi Curt,

If you turn on [x] Confirm conversions at open in Word in
Tools=>Options=>General
and then open the file in Word via File=>Open
is the file recognized as being a Works word processor file?

How old is the .wps file?
