I'm trying to create a way of recording split times in excel. This is going
to be for recording a relay race and entering it into excel. Any suggestions

if you're working with Excel only, not Access, then suggest you re-post to
an Excel newsgroup. this newsgroup answers questions re MS Access relational
database software.
