Image Conversion

Group,
I can't tell you how productive my day has been since I started to use
Visio. Next to Excel, its probably my best suite of tools. One thing I was
wondering is there a way to take an image in (jpg or gif) and convert it
into a stencil/template? I'm not the artsy type who can draw something and
use it. I wish I was. Your thoughts.

Hi Tony,

Thanks for the comments. You can make your own reusable shape by dragging
one from the drawing back over to a stencil in the Shapes window. To do
this you need an editable stencil open. Go to File > Shapes > My Shapes >
Favorites or make a new blank stencil. Then drag your image over to the
stencil.
