Image doesn't show in signature when using Word as editor.

I use Win 2000 and Outlook 2003.

I created this html file called signature.htm:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html;
charset=windows-1252">
<META content="MSHTML 6.00.2800.1528" name=GENERATOR>
</HEAD>
<BODY>
<DIV align=left><FONT face=Arial size=2>Jan Nordgreen</FONT></DIV>
<DIV align=left><image src="logo.jpg"></DIV>
</BODY>
</HTML>

The file logo.jpg and signature.htm I put in the same folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\JNordgreen\Application
Data\Microsoft\Signatures.

When I double-click signature.htm it displays the text and the image in
my default browser.

In Outlook 2003 I go to Tools - Options - Mail Format - Signatures and
I can see the text and the image in the preview window when I select
'Signature'.

For 'Signature for new messages' I select 'Signature'.

Here comes the problem: when I create a new message the text and the
image of the signature show when I don't choose Word as an editor, but
not when I choose Word.

What do I have to do to get the image to show when I use Word? I use
html format and can insert images from files into the message.
