Image from previous record is being displayed

I am following this procedure http://support.microsoft.com/kb/285820/en-us
for displaying images that are stored on a local folder in a report.

There is supposed to be one image per record, but when the report displays,
the first record uses the picture property of the image control field (which
I have manually set to be the picture corresponding to the first record).
That is fine, but starting for the second record, it shows the same image
(the one for the first record) and so on, always being behind one record in
the image field.

Any suggestions to fix?

Hi,
I am using similar approach, and it works fine. Try to use corresponding
section format event, instead of print event, and try to debug DisplayImage
function to see why it puts wrong image

The issue seems to be that I was grouping by another field and was placing
the image in the header section for that field, not in the main report
section. I have worked around it by changing the design to put the image in
the footer, but for others' future reference, this is still not fully
resolved.
