Image in table

Hi,

I am using word for 4-5 years & never say such a simple
problem. I have a table of 1x1 & a image in it. It shows 1
line below the image. I am trying to delete that line, but
can not. I tried using hide/unhide, options of table
properties & delete still it remains & cursor blinks on
this line inside the table.

Any clues?
