Image in word template wont print fronm outlook

I create a template in word and insert an image (.gif, .jpg, .bmp), then I
click on the icon to send it as an email. When the email is opened the
image appears but when I go to print it out the image does not appear, only
a box with an x through it.
Anything need set in outlook properties?
