Image memory erasing problems.

John

People,
A while back I started asking a series of question to try and help a
particular problem I was having. In my save web site Publisher files the
images started to disapear. I would save and close and the next day when I
opened it up, in some cases all the images were gone just and empty space
with a red X was there. the file remembered that an image had been there but
nothing was showing.
It turned out to be an Image resizer file I had from MS. It wasn't until I
wiped that file that the problem stopped. Just thought you'd like to know in
case you had it happen to someone else. Thanks to all that tried to help.
Regards
John

John,

Thanks for the information. Could you clarify what you meant by "Image
resizer file"? Was this part of Windows XP Power Toys? Did you just
uninstall the program?

Yes! That was it the Power Toy. I had been replacing images for days and
reformating my hard drive and taking all sorts of programes off. It wasn't
until the resizer power toy was removed that the problem stopped.

Thanks Again

Thanks for posting back. The problem you had with your images is one of the
most frequent problems in the regular newsgroup, and perhaps this will help
some of those people.

Mary....did you read this? ;-)
