Image move

I have a pp presentation. On one slide I have a few images and text. When I
try to copy and paste a new image from a different file it moves the other
images and resize them. I tried to group the images but it doesn't work.
How can I fix this?

What version of PowerPoint are you using?
Try this, Tools - AutoCorrect options - AutoFormat as you type tab - uncheck
the very last option at the bottom. See if it helps, if it does not, post
back.
