Image path in Word

I needed to copy a Word 2000 (I suspect the version isn't relevant) document
template with a linked (not embedded) image in it to another machine. The
image had to end up in different folder. I couldn't find a way to edit the
path of the image in the template and had to delete it and insert it again
from the new path. OK no real hardship except when you have to make sure all
the multitude of settings for the image are identical.
Is there a way to edit the image path?

If you are using Linked images then you can change the links using one
of two methods:

- Go to Edit/Links and modify each link

- Press Alt + F9 to toggle the view of field codes and use
Find/Replace to find the old path and replace with the new path.

Easy when you know how - many thanks!
