Image problem in Word 2000

I am still trying to figure out how to fix a problem with
blank images in Word 2000. Here's the problem:

One user in the office has problems with images displaying
properly in Word documents created by other users and/or
herself. The image shows up in print preview and will
print, but doesn't display on her screen. Some images,
such as our company logo, appear as a blank box.

I have tried replacing her normal.dot template, running
repair, and even uninstalled/reinstalled Office - problem
still exists.
