Image size greater than one page of Word !! Plz help.

Hi,

First of all , i request you to please cooperate even if you think my
question is trivial in nature.

My problem is that i have an image file which spans more than one page
size of microsoft word.

When i paste the image in word, It gets pasted but only as much as can
be accomodated in one microsoft word page is visible.

The remaining part of the image doesnot move to the next page.

My basic aim is to take a printout of the document that contains that
image.

But even when i take a printout , only one page comes and the rest of
the data is not printed.

I can't even reduce the size of the image to fit to one page because
the image contains text and if i reduce the size, the text size
reduces and it doesnot remain readable.

Please suggest a way out of this situation.

I use A4 papers for printing.

Objects cannot under any circumstances span pages in Word. You will need
different software to do this eg Publisher?

Is there any freeware available for this?

Insert the object on page. Crop it to fit the available area. Insert the
same object on another page. Crop it to display the remaining portion.
Alternatively, if your printer driver offers a way to scale a page up and
tile it over several pages (some do), insert the image on a single page and
resize it to fit the page, then print it scaled and tiled.

You would still have the unprintable area between the pages?

Yes. When you tile images onto several sheets of paper this way, you have to
have some overlap for taping them together, anyway.
