Image size in signatures

Gaz7

Hi, i'm creating signatures in Outlook 2002.

One has worked perfectly, with a picture added as a BMP file, created in
Photoshop, that's 200x39 pixels. It comes out the correct size.

However, when i'm trying to do more, with different 200x39 sized pics, for
some reason Outlook is scaling them up, so they appear much larger when
they're added to a signature, and look terrible.

Why is this? Why won't is just display them normally? All of the BMP's are
fine in Photoshop and windows picture viewer, but only one is displayed at
it's correct size by outlook?

Thanks,

Gareth

How do you insert them? By using Word as the e-mail editor? ALso look in you
html-template of your signature to see if size is indicated correctly by the
html code.

Hi, i'm creating the signatures directly in outlook, and click 'add picture'
to add the pics in. How do i check the template you mentioned?

Okay, my mistake.... I was saving the pictures with the usual 'save as'
option. I needed to use 'save for web' instead. That's sorted it!

thanks for your help :)
