Hi,
I've a Word doc stored in My Documents in the network/DFS (i.e. user profile
incl. My Documents is \\ourlan\dfs\users\...), the pictures are in a
subdirectory in My Documents, and were added to the doc with "Link to file"
(instead if "Link and file"). Now I wanted to copy the word file and the
image folder to the harddisk, but the images refuse to work after this.
The control codes (or what they're called, after ALT-F9) look like below.
Exactly the same for original and for the copied word doc.
{ INCLUDEPICTURE "pvss-img/gedi%20-%20para%20-%20config%20insert%20menu.bmp"
\* MERGEFORMAT \d }
The folder in which the copied word doc is, contains the pvss-img subfolder,
and the image files are all there. But Word won't display them. I also tried
changing the %20 to spaces, didn't help. Then additionally the / to \, no
difference.
There's a larger image on a landscape formatted 50cm x 50cm page in the same
document. This picture is the only one which displays correctly, though
instead of actually showing the control code for it Word just shows the
picture (alt-f9 doesn't change this...)
Puzzled... There are a lot of images in the document, wouldn't want to
reinsert them all again.
Any good ideas?
many thanks,
- Jan
