Images and Text disappears during print preview

You can see the images and text while in the document.
When you go to print preview you can not see the image and
some of the text is missing. Then, when you go back to the
document, the image is gone from there now. The only way
to get it back is to close the document and reopen. Also,
the image will not print.

We are running Office 2000 with all updates on a Windows
2000 Professional system with SP4 and all the Windows
updates. It seems these issues started with the
installation of SP4 for Windows, however we can not remove
SP4 because we did not choose archieve files during the
installation. Any suggestions?
