When I print or save a Word document that was exported from MS OneNote, none
of the images print. They look fine when the file is first opened, but as
soon as the print dialog closes, all the images are replaced by blank frames
with an "X" in the
upper left corner. In order to bring them back I have to close the document
(without saving) and reopen it. If I save any changes in the document, the
next time it is opened the images are gone.
I have been using SnagIt to capture images from the screen and paste into
OneNote. I have not seen this happen when I paste the images directly into
Word, so my first thought was that it had something to do with how OneNote is
exporting the images. However, someone in the OneNote discussion group was
able to follow the same steps without any problems and suggested it may have
something to do with some settings in Word, so I thought I'd see if anyone in
this group had any ideas.
I have also not seen any effect by reducing the hardware acceleration.
