I'm not sure if the problem I'm going to describe is a PUB problem or an
Adobe problem, but here is what happens.
I have a PUB file with several images two of them color JPGs. I print to PDF
from PUB. I open the PDF file in Acrobat Standard and everything looks fine.
I send this file to a colleguage for printing on a color printer. He opens
the file in Acrobat, everything looks fine. He prints it and the two color
images don't print. All the other images print fine. I tried to figure out
what wrong with the images but can't find anything.
When I print the PUB file directly from Publisher to my Brother 1440 laser
printer, the images are printed. If I print the PDF file to the Brother, the
pictures don't print, same as on the Ricoh
In both cases the images are shown when the PDF file is opend in Acrobat,
but they are not printed, neither on the Ricoh, nor on the Brother printer.
So, what's going wrong here?
Does anybody ever encountered something similar? Any ideas?
